As you enter the lobby, you will see various Awards and 45s on display that were recorded at the studio, as well as the Norman Petty Trio's 4 albums (top)
Inside the recording control room, more awards, albums and sheet music cover the walls.
Norman with Jimmy Self, one of the first artists to record at the Petty Studios. Jimmy was the first to record "Blue Christmas" and as we see here, the ONLY person Norman allowed to smoke inside the studio! Jimmy was inducted into the Norman Petty Hall Of Fame in 1999.
The original mixing console that overlooks the recording room.
The studio speakers hold up against today's best, they really pound! On the shelf you can see Norman kept stocked up on tubes for the equipment, and various small instruments are there too. As you can see, not much has changed!
